Structure of the site

It's strange how I decided to make a multi-layout for this one fandom. Initially just a fanlisting, I decided to make it grow out into a fansite. I forgot how much I loved this manga until recently when I decided to re-read the first few chapters. While I was admiring the adorable scenes and beautiful art of the manga, Kimi ni Todoke stands as my favorite shoujo series.

What I think hit me the idea of the site structure was when I was looking through my cousin's portfolio of her sorority. It was all unique and creative, thus I really admired it. It kind of made me want to make my own portfolio. However I did not want to spend so much money for all the supplies, so while I was working on a layout for this site, it struck me that I could make a "portfolio" for Kimi ni Todoke. Truthfully I wanted to use another image for the fanlisting, but of course it didn't fit in with the other stuff I was doing with the current one; therefore I went all out and started to make a different layout for each subject: details, fanlisting, media, and exeunt.

It was fun making all these layouts since I adore this series a lot. I was having a designer block at times, but I managed to pull through and gave everyone a portfolio-type site. (:

About this section

The current layout is the second version of the exit section. It features Ayane, Chizu, Ryu, and the puppy, Pedro Martinez (or Maru-chan) from the back cover of volume seven. This layout was designed in Adobe Photoshop CS3 and coded under Notepad++.

My last words

I absolutely adore Kimi ni Todoke. I first picked it up from Puri-Puri Scanalations. The art was beautifully well done and there was something really cute about the series. Sawako simply amazes me with her attitude. Maybe it was because she was a new element from all the other shoujo manga characters I've been reading lately that made me fell in love with this series. Kazehaya-kun, the handsome young teenager that Sawako looks up at is amazing and I think he might have a crush on Sawako. (: Greatly refreshing and fun to read, I continued looking through the raw mangas my sister was able to find. If you haven't tried reading Kimi ni Todoke, then you're missing out a great masterpiece from Shiina Karuho.
